The method

A few companiesfigured this out early.

It is not analysis, it is not agency work, and it is not regulatory review. It is its own job, it takes being a scientist and a teacher to do it, and it has a name.

The definition

A Science Narrator reads the evidence behind a product and writes the account of it a person can follow.

What the job takes

You won't find this in a scientist, a teacher, a marketer, or an AI.

You need it all in the same person.

The scientist,so people can trust.

Whether the study was run in people, at your dose, in your form, and whether the finding held. That read is a scientist's, and it is the half that cannot be faked.

The teacher,so people can understand.

Attributed, past tense, tied to the study it came from, and still plain enough for someone with no science at all. That is a teacher's half, and most scientific training works against it.

The marketer,so people buy.

Knowing what a person asks next, in what order, and which answer settles it for them. That comes from standing in the rooms where they ask, not from a persona document. It is the half that decides whether an accurate explanation ever reaches anyone.

Why AI is not enough.

AI drafts fast and it earns its place on a team. It also gets chemistry wrong, folds two findings into one, and leans toward whoever asked the question. This read catches that before your customer does, so the speed stays and your customer still gets the whole account.

Where it comes from

Italy built this for the clinic. This builds it for the product.

Italy calls it medicina narrativa, narrative medicine, and there it is a clinical method: taught, accredited, and standing beside the evidence rather than against it.

Science Narration takes the same posture and points it at a product instead of a patient. It is not narrative medicine, which is academic and clinical and has its own faculty. It sits beside that lineage, not on top of it.

What it produces

Understanding. That is the deliverable.

A narrator is measured on whether a real person understood, not on whether the copy sounded impressive and not on whether the claim survived review. Those two things matter and other people own them.

And what understanding does next

A person who knows why it works notices when it does.

Your customer is already paying attention to how they feel. What they usually lack is a frame to hang it on. Without one, whatever they notice floats free and does not attach to anything in particular.

Give them the mechanism in words they can hold, and the frame is there. Now what they notice has somewhere to land, and it lands on the thing they understood. They connect it back to your product themselves, in their own words, to the next person who asks.

That is the quietest marketing there is, and no campaign can buy it. It only works if the explanation was true to begin with.
