The file underneath it. Most of what a company needs is the version their customer can follow. That is what sits at the front. The reading it came out of sits behind it, so anyone who wants to check the work can. At the front The story, or the script. Written from the reading, in words the person holding your jar can follow. The script comes in two lengths, two to three minutes and thirty to sixty seconds, and both are yours. Every spoken line is traced back to the study it came from. - **Attributed.** Third person, past tense, tied to the study it came from - **Plain.** Readable by someone with no science behind them - **Honest.** The parts that do not flatter you are in it Underneath, the evidence behind it ### Four parts, in this order. - **What it is.** Small molecule, peptide or protein, and what that difference means for how a body handles it - **What it does.** The mechanism, and the pathways in the body it touches - **The human studies.** How much human data there is, and who ran them - **The research that cuts against it** The sort ## Every study carries the same nine tags. So a reader can see at a glance which findings are load bearing and which are not, without taking anyone's word for it. - **Human trial** or not - **How many people** - **How diverse** the population - **Blinded** or open - **Placebo controlled** or not - **Dose and form,** and whether it matches yours - **Mechanistic or clinical** - **Funded by whom,** where stated - **What it found** and what it did not Why this is not the research you already did You have the studies. Your customer has the questions. Your formulator read the literature to decide what to make. That read was for you. If a model summarised it, that summary was for you too. This one is written for the person holding the jar, and it answers what they actually ask. A file that only proves the molecule works is a file your customer cannot use. The version they can follow is the deliverable. What you do with the file is your decision. If there is research that cuts against you, it is in there in the same format as the rest. If you are doing something different to combat the research that cuts against you, that is in there too. A story telling only the good parts is just another advertisement, and a reader can feel the difference. You also find out what is weak in private, on your own schedule, rather than from a retailer or a journalist. How it is used ## Built to be opened, not filed. Your team stops guessing. Sales can explain what they sell. Marketing knows what is behind the product. When someone asks, the file opens instead of a scramble. Every statement is attributed. Third person, past tense, tied to the study it came from. If a line could be lifted straight onto a label, it gets rewritten. It carries its own date. Compilation date, literature cutoff, the scope that was searched, and a review date twelve months out. A file from this year does not get waved around in three. What it is not It is a literature assembly. It is not regulatory review, claim approval, claim clearance, or legal advice, and it does not state or imply that any claim is permissible.
